Another Baby Gift set

Inspired by my last gift set I decided to have another go using a different fabric.

This was the first time I've made a bib, I think it turned out pretty good and was really quick to make.

I used the startdust shoes pattern to come up with these! Then I made a little comforter to add to the collection.

The Very Hungry Caterpillar Baby Gift

When I saw the 'The Very Hungry Caterpillar' fabric I fell in love! & Had to get some.

I made my little one a blanket for her 1st birthday using the fabric and had some scraps left. Sooo....

I came up with this. The set includes a comforter with ribbons round all the edges for chewing and twiddling.

A pair of 0 to 6 months soft sole shoes with leather soles. I also appliqued 2 bibs with the VHC food to finish the set.

This set turned out better than I expected, the shoes being my favourite! So I resized the pattern and made some for my 1 year old as well. Laura x

Girl's Sundress/Romper

Hi all, below are pictures of a girls Sundress and bloomers I made for my 1 year old. The dress/top is based on this tutorial from '7 Layer Studio'. It was really easy to make with clear instructions. I consider myself a novice but managed this!

The bloomers I made using a pair of her shorts as a template, they were farely quick to make.

I also made matching soft soled shoes using this tutorial from the Stardustshoes blog and a hair bow to accessorize.

I love how this turned out, and plan to make more in the future. At the moment I am in the middle of making my 4 year old a dress using the same tutorial but making it longer. I will post pics when I'm done. Laura x.
